| 中文描述 | 炭疽病是由炭疽桿菌引起的一種急性敗血症，在炭疽病常在區域內本桿菌是很普遍的菌種，包括美國中南部。接觸到被污染土壤中的孢子而感染。動物可能會急性死亡，如果有觀察到症狀便可以對動物進行治療。可由血液抹片及細菌培養診斷。豬隻感染可引起急性炭疽病但都會發展到局部的咽喉型有頭及頸部的腫大導到機械性喉部阻塞。另炭疽病在馬有時會呈現腹痛或疝氣。此為人畜共通傳染病。 |

| 英文描述 | Anthrax is an acute septicemia caused by BACILLUS ANTHRACIS. Common in endemic areas, including the south central U.S. Spread by exposure to spores in affected soil. Sudden death may occur, or signs may be seen and animals treated. Dx by blood smears and culture. This is a zoonosis. |
